Is there no humanity, no pity from Europe for the Gazans?
But first some facts…
Israel’s 3 weeks of war on the Gaza Strip has resulted in killing at least 1,300 Palestinians, including 411 children. About 6,000 others were wounded.
According to the Palestinian Central Bureau for Statistics, at least 4,000 residential buildings were reduced to rubble and some 16,000 more houses were damaged. This brings the number of houses destroyed or devastated in the Israeli attacks to 20,000, which consists of about 15 percent of all structures in Gaza.
The reconstruction cost is said to be $1.6 billion.
And today, according to AP reports, an EU representative pitilessly said they would not fund reconstruction to the Gaza infrastructure because the legitimately and democratically elected Hamas remains in charge.
And if Iran and/or Syria agrees to help instead, will the EU, US and Israel accept that?
